Build the next thing Africa watches.

Buka is building the continent's first vertical-native drama studio. Original local-language stories, mobile-first, made for the way Africa actually watches. We're open for the right conversations: distribution, brand, co-production, capital, talent.

Why now

The window is open.

01 — The shift

The audience moved.

Viewing has shifted to mobile-first vertical: 9:16, ninety-second cuts, watched in queues, taxis and between classes. The format is the platform now.

02 — The gap

Asia validated the model.

Micro-drama grew into an $11B market by 2025. Nobody has built the local-language African version — and language locks out global operators.

03 — The moment

We're already shooting.

The first ten originals are in production, founders broadcast live, and there's a roughly 12-month window to shape the category before anyone else arrives.

The build

We're not launching a show. We're building a studio.
